SeaChem Cupramine 250ML treats up to 1250 gallons and is superior to copper sulfate, chloride & citrate: it is non-acidic, less toxic to fish, remains in solution, and does not contaminate the filter bed. It is superior to chelates: it is fully charged (ionic), and active at low concentrations, and is removable with carbon.

Cupramine copper should only be used in a quarantine system and not in your main display.  Copper is not reef safe for invertebrates and corals.

It is highly recommended to quarantine all fish before entering your aquarium display to treat for marine velvet and Ich.  Cupramine and copper are the only proven methods for eradicating the parasite from the system.
