Why sell your trading cards like Magic the Gathering and Pokémon to Atlantis Hobby.
Atlantis Hobby for over 5 years has been buying and selling trading card singles and games. We have the largest selection of trading card games in Southern Minnesota and with two locations in Mankato and Owatonna, one of the largest selections available for cards.
So why choose Atlantis Hobby to sell your trading cards vs others?
Being in business for 5yrs not only makes us reputable but also we have been consistent on what we pay and buy since we opened. Our buying policy hasn't changed and is consistent with every customer, it don't matter if you spend thousands or never been here before. Also every game we sell we are a certified Organized Play store for and run events typically each week. We specialize in trading card games, that is what we do and who we are, even before we opened our store.
We are consistent with what we offer to anyone and that allows our customers to know almost in advance how much they will get for their cards.
So what does Atlantis Hobby offer for cash or credit when buying cards?
As mentioned for over five years we have stayed consistent and we feel our customers appriciate that. We base all of our pricing for TCG's based on TCGplayer.com and use the condition and lowest listed price of that card as its value. We pay generally 50% of whatever that amount is, so if you have a $20 card based on that price you can expect to get around $10. This can vary depending on how rare the card is or demand for certain cards, but generally that is a good starting point. Any cards that are under $3 or less we pay bulk pricing for and varies per game. To keep it even simplier our cash and credit amount is the same across the games.
We do all buying in person at our stores, we do not give pricing over the phone, email, or messages. This is to ensure that our customers get a consistent experience and price for their cards.
If you have a collection of trading cards to sell be sure to reach out to us or stop into one of our stores. We are always glad to help customers with any questions they may have.
